My Previous Studio

I have used an old screen door that I picked up from my local junk yard, it cost me $5 and I reckon it has been the best money I have spent!! I just love the distress paint and torn wire!!

This is an old trestle table I also picked up for $5, I stapled calico fabric along the edge so I can store items under it. I have my favourite embroidered doilies sitting on it with my vintage typewriter and other items that I have created and want to display.

This is my /creatingteaching area, I have room for eight ladies to sit comfortably, I can include more if the class isn't too technical. Many craft nights I have had up to 16 friends sitting around it and yes we did create!! The seats are padded, the room is air-conditioned, it's separate to the house, has a sink and tiny kitchen area, it's fully carpeted, I have daylight lighting for true colour and so that there are no shadows when working in this area. Lucky girl aren't I, but it's also my job and I have a wonderful hubby that supports me, truly blessed I am!

This is my wooden stamps area, I do have some more of them. This is my drying and wet application area, I have my mats, heat gun and scrap card in this area. The containers down the left-hand side contain my small embellishments, markers, threads, scissors etc. Underneath this area enclose my antique embellishments, old jewelry, ribbons, flowers, game pieces etc.

I love old glass dishes, so on this old sideboard which a friend gave me has all my bits and pieces, resins embellishments, Tim Holtz accessories, jewelery pieces. Some days I could just stand there for hours and just look at this stuff, it's inspiration in itself!

This is my ribbon stand, I am a visual person, if I can't see it then I forget about it! The cupboard holds containing that have - sentiments, doilies, stickers, rub-ons, ephemera, 12x12 sticker alphabets, envelopes etc.

This is my medium shelves, it has my embossing powders, paints, sprays, stains, glitters, re-inkers, paint brushes, sponges, stencils and more.

I love this tin which is filled with my collection of Washi tapes, sadly I have had to upgrade this because my Washi tapes seem to be breeding at a rapport rate LOL. The rusty tins cost me $4 at a old second hand store.

I have my acrylic stamps in tubs and they are in categories, kids/cute, flowers, sentiments, vintage so on. This is also my shelve of punches, I don't think I have many of these as I have seen a few of my friends collections and they are huge!!

This is my office area, I usually have my laptop here. The shelving on the right has my magazines in it for easy reference! Oh and I no longer have the Cricut, I now have the Silhouette Cameo!! On the shelves are creations that friends have made me and the piece on the speaker on the left-hand side is a creation that TIM HOLTZ made himself!! Yes I have a creation he has made in my little studio!! I won it at a charity auction and I'm not going to say how much as it's worth every penny and went to a good cause :-)

I hope you liked the tour, It's a happy place for many which I just love, the only joy is a shared joy!!
